What is the Thick Like Dumplin Method?
The Thick Like Dumplin method is my signature framework for sustainable fitness. It’s built on the belief that movement should center joy, rhythm, and strength, not punishment, restriction, or toxic diet culture. It’s for women who are ready to unlearn the "start-and-stop" cycle and build habits that actually fit their real lives.
I’m brand new to all of this. Where should I start?

Do you offer group classes or just private sessions?
I offer both! Alongside my private coaching, I run a multi-week group program called the Dance Body Experience.

What’s the difference between a Dancehall Vibez 1-on-1 and a Dance Body 1-on-1?
Dancehall Vibez1-on-1 is all about confidence, culture, and skill. Learning foundational steps, wining, and choreography at your own pace.
Dance Body1-on-1 blends Dancehall movement with strength training and custom wellness guidance to help you lose weight, build strength, and feel amazing in your body.
Both are beginner-friendly and private; we just tailor the focus based on your goals.
Do the sessions in a 3 or 9-session package need to be scheduled at the same time every week?
Nope! You can book each session at a time that works best for you. You’ll receive a private booking link after each session to lock in the next one, or you can use the same link to schedule all of your sessions at once.
I’m brand new, is this still for me?
100%. Whether you're just getting started or coming back to movement after a long break, this space is built for you. We'll take it at your pace, and you'll leave feeling stronger, freer, and more confident every time.
What if I’m not in shape / have no rhythm / am nervous?
This is a judgment-free zone. You don’t need to be in shape or “know how to dance” to belong here. We focus on joy, confidence, and progress, not perfection. I’ve worked with clients of all ages, sizes, and experience levels. You’re in good hands.
What do I need for my session?
Just wear something comfortable that lets you move freely and bring a bottle of water. For virtual sessions, make sure you have space to move and a stable internet connection.
What happens if I need to reschedule?
Life happens! You can reschedule your session up to 24 hours in advance using your confirmation email or booking link. Missed sessions or no-shows can’t be refunded or credited, so just try to let me know as soon as possible.
How long do I have to use my package?
9-Session packages must be used within 90 days of your first session, while 3-Session packages must be used within 45 days. That gives you flexibility to pace yourself, but also enough structure to stay consistent and keep progressing.
Can I do a mix of Dance Body and Dancehall Vibez 1-on-1s in one package?
If you’re interested in both, I recommend booking a Dance Body 1-on-1. You’ll still get all the movement and vibes, plus custom tools like a nutrition and workout framework, as well as the TLD guide to support your overall goals. Sessions are always tailored to you.
What if I’m not sure after my first session?
That’s exactly why the Feel-Good Guarantee exists. If you don’t leave your first session feeling energized and confident, your next session will be complimentary so you have space to fully experience the work.
