Does every fitness plan seem to work until real life happens?
You start strong, then work gets busy, you travel, youโre tired, or life just happens. A few missed days turn into weeks, and suddenly it feels like youโre back at square one.
You donโt need another plan that only works when everything goes right. You need a routine you can keep coming back to without starting over every time life gets messy.
Thatโs what the Dance Body Experience is designed to help you build.
Why I Created Dance Body Experience
I know what it feels like to keep starting over. Iโve lost weight, regained it, dealt with injuries and travel throwing me off my game, gotten busy, and had plenty of seasons where my routine didnโt look the way I planned.
Dance was my way of enjoying movement, but I also learned that dance alone wasnโt enough for the results I wanted. Strength training, nutrition, walking, recovery, and learning how to adjust instead of quit all mattered too.
Thatโs why I created the Thick Like Dumplin method, and why the Dance Body Experience brings all of those pieces together.
Fitness finally became sustainable when I stopped treating it like something I was either โonโ or โoff.โ Thatโs what I want to help you build too.

Founder, The Thick Like Dumplin Method
My fitness journey wasnโt linear. Learning how to stop treating every interruption like a failure is what finally changed it.
The Method Behind the Dance Body Experience
The Thick Like Dumplin method is built around four foundations that make fitness easier to maintain in real life.
Rhythm
Find movement you actually enjoy enough to come back to.
Structure
Know what to do without having to figure out your routine from scratch every week.
Strength
Build muscle and strength to support your body now and long-term.
Flexibility
Learn how to adjust when your time, energy, or capacity changes instead of quitting.
Dance makes movement easier to come back to, but dance isnโt the whole system. The Dance Body Experience brings movement, strength, nutrition, recovery, and mindset together so you can build a routine that lasts.

Youโre tired of starting over every time life gets busy.
You want a clear plan that still leaves room for real life.
You want movement you can actually enjoy and look forward to.

โ Looking primarily for Dancehall training?
The Dance Body Experience is primarily a fitness program with Dancehall built into it, rather than a Dancehall course. If your main goal is learning Dancehall, building your technique, and dancing more often, the Vibez Room is likely a better fit.
FAQ
-
Thatโs exactly what the course is designed to help you handle. The six-week structure gives you direction, but there are no deadlines and no group to keep up with. If life gets busy, you can slow down, pause, or scale your routine back instead of abandoning it completely. Youโll also learn how to return after a break without feeling like you need to start over.
-
You can start as a beginner. The strength phases include guidance on form, choosing resistance, modifications, and when to progress, while the Dancehall classes break choreography down step by step. You donโt need to already be strong or consider yourself a dancer.
-
No. The course is designed to be completed at home with basic strength-training equipment, such as dumbbells, resistance bands, or a kettlebell. Household alternatives can also work while youโre getting started, and youโll get equipment guidance inside the course.
-
No. DBE does not give you a restrictive meal plan. Youโll learn how calories, protein, portions, and balanced meals support your goals while still leaving room for foods you enjoy. Tracking is a tool you can use, not a requirement.
-
When you follow the program consistently, you can expect to build strength, improve stamina and movement control, support fat loss and body recomposition, and see changes in how your body feels and how your clothes fit. Just as importantly, youโll leave knowing how to adjust your routine and keep making progress beyond the six weeks.
