I know what it feels like to want change — but not the kind that leaves you depleted, tense, or overwhelmed.

For years, I watched women chase “fitness” that made them smaller, not stronger. Hustle harder, eat less, move without joy. And I knew there had to be another way — one that honored the body, celebrated culture, and built confidence from the inside out.

That’s how The Thick Like Dumplin Method — and now, The Dance Body Experience — were born.

Both are rooted in the same philosophy: that movement should build strength and self-trust, not stress or shame.

The Dance Body Experience brings that philosophy to life in a 6-week journey that helps you reconnect with movement, rebuild strength, and fall back in love with your body — through the vibrant, freeing energy of Dancehall.

  • Two sessions each week — Wednesdays at 7 PM EST and Saturdays at 11 AM EST — designed to build strength, rhythm, and confidence through authentic Dancehall movement. Every class is beginner-friendly and recorded for replay, so you can move on your own time.
